OBDSTAR X300M is a professional and universal mileage tool for all cars via OBD. This is guide for using OBDSTAR X300M to change Mazda 6 2006 mileage, very easy steps for you!

This is the original mileage of Mazda 6 2006: 152550km

Follow these steps to correct the mileage quickly:

Step1. Start OBDSTAR X300M Mileage Correction Tool, choose “Vehicles”→ “Mileage Adjustment”→ “Other Models”

Step2. Choose “Mazda”→ “M6”→ “2005-2009”

Step3. Now switch ignition on, OBDSTAR X300M will remind you to do data backup before changing mileage. (Data backup is next step) Then turn off the ignition and turn it on again.

Step4. Data Backup: Turn off the ignition and turn it on again. Wait a moment then input the name of file to save and data backup success.

Step5. Mileage Adjustment: Turn off the ignition and turn it on again. Also wait a moment for OBDSTAR X300M to read mileage, after that confirm the original mileage.

OBDSTAR EEPROM adapter is newly added with PIC adapters & cables and verified working fine with OBDstar X100 pro/ X-300PRO to read write CPU data on a part of car computer. And now it is called OBDSTAR EEPROM PIC 2-in-1 adapter. As known, the EEPROM is used to read out password from EEPROM chip and restore data.

Take FAW Vios V5 (Immobilizer coil model is 89783-52Q40) and FAW N5/N7 (Immobilizer coil model is 89783-TBA00) for example, if their keys are lost, the 4S tend to replace new immobilizer coil then match key, usually a immobilizer coil cost about $50-$85. However, our OBDSTAR PIC adapter is designed to initialize adapter without replacing immobilizer coil, you just directly match new key after immo coil initialization. How PIC adapter work with OBDstar X-300PRO and initialize immo coil on FAW Vios V5?

FAW Vios V5 key lost and firstly need to initialize immo coil, the procedure shown as follows:

1.Remove immobilizer coil from ignition switch, model: 89783-52Q40

2.Take apart immobilizer coil and then connect to the PIC adapter, there are two optional methods:

(1). Directly to connect

  

(2) Take apart the chip to weld:

Take apart the 14pin chip from immobilizer coil, then weld to the NO.2 PIC adapter. (Any one of following 4 welding position is ok).

3.Connect well X-300 Pro main unit, adapter and No.2 PIC adapter, and then supply power. Press menu to enter: Function – EEPROM adapter- PIC/ Freescale – FAW- Vios V5.

4.Initialization, wait until it finish.

5.After initialization, install immo coil back to the car, start to match key, procedure as follows:

Match 2 keys:

1.Insert a new key into ignition lock, wait 5 seconds (Note: just insert key to OFF position, not turn to ON position)

2.Insert the second new key into ignition lock, wait 5 seconds (Note: just insert key to OFF position, not turn to ON position)

3.Take out the second key from ignition lock, then insert one key that programmed into the ignition, quick turn on and off ignition for 5 times, immo light turn off, program done.

4.After key programming done, it needs to synchronize engine and immobilizer. Procedure as follows: connect X300 PRO to the vehicle, enter X300 pro IMMO remote match – FAW Vios V5 – Engine and immobilizer synchronization – type.

5.Synchronization complete.

General speaking, OBDSTAR X300 PRO3 key master = SKP900+ Odometer adjustment+ EEPROM/PIC+ OBDII function. As to its powerful basic key programming function, this blog will show you how X300 PRO3 add 2016 Cadillac CT6 key when all key lost as an example.

First, Start OBDSTAR X300 PRO3 key master. Choose these items in this order:

“Vehicle”→ “Immobilizer”→ “Basic”→ “GM” → “GM V30.44” → “IMMO/ Remote” → “Cadillac” → “CT6” → “Immobilizer” → “2016”→ “All Key Lost”.

Next, Press the Start button once. Put the smart key into the card slot then take other smart key out of the car. Press “Enter” button to continue. After that turn the ignition off and wait.

This blog will prove and demonstrate how OBDSTAR X300DP program two Toyota G chip keys for a Toyota RV4 when all keys lost. (One master key, one sub-master key) OBDSTAR X300 DP now is ready to send at eobdtool.co.uk)

Step1. A Toyota RV4 2013 with G chip lost all keys. So we are going to program two new G chip keys as below:

Step2. Connect OBDSTAR X300 DP with car and power up tablet, use the new master key to switch ignition on then click “Diag Program” to start.

Choose “Type 2 (With G 72)

Choose “Remote immobilizer (all key lost)”

Step3. Switch ignition off.

Then switch ignition on.

Now switch ignition off and remove the key.

Step4. Use the new master key to switch ignition on again and click “Yes”. Switch ignition off and remove the key.

Follow solution B: program one master and one sub key

Use the master key to turn on ignition and wait 5 seconds then pull it out.

It is tested easy to change 2008 Volvo S80 mileage using OBDSTAR X300M odometercorrection tool! Below this blog will show you step by step.

Turn car ignition on and we can see the original kilometer is 70106.

Connect OBDSTAR X300M with car. Choose “Vehicles”→ “Other models” → “Other models V30.51”.

Choose “Volvo” → “S80” → “07-”

Select “Mileage adjustment” function

It will ask to turn ignition on, press the Enter button to confirm.

Then it will ask to turn ignition off, so turn it off and press the Enter button.

Now it is reading the mileage, this process may cost a while.

After that we enter a number to name the mileage data file.

This is a test report of OBDSTAR DP PAD Android Tablet; it tested 100% ok on Japan and South Korea vehicles to perform mainly key programming and odometer correction, as well as other maintenance service.

Newly tested OBDSTAR X300 DP on a 2013 Chevrolet Cruze: OBDSTAR X300 DP PAD OBDII diagnose Chevy Cruze, show live data stream and change mileage easily! Below is review and steps.

What to do: OBDII diagnose 2013 Chevrolet Cruze, view live data and adjust mileage

Result: All success.

Conclusion: OBDSTAR X300 DP tablet is easy to use, basic diagnose is enough for car workshop daily job, change mileage fast no error and has many special reset functions. Cost effective! I will recommend fellow guys to get one!

Tested OBDSTAR X300 DP OBDII diagnose Chevy Cruze 2013 OK

First connect X300 DP Pad with Cruze via the Bluetooth VCI Box and turn ignition on.

Click “Diag Program” on main menu.

Choose “OBDII” function on left side menu and click “OBDII” icon.

Latest OBDII diagnostics software V30.09 is available.

Click “Auto Scan” and it will pair car protocol and communicate with car automatically.

Then go to check if there is DTC codes exist. Click “Read Codes” to read out all DTC faults in vehicle. In this case, no DTC exists.

Next go to view live data stream for car real time status.

Back to Diagnostic Menu and choose “Live Data”. Select all options and click “OK”.

OBDSTAR X300 DPshow you live data including DTC number, MIL status, engine coolant temperature, fuel trim value and engine RPM, etc.

Tested OBDSTAR X300 DP change mileage for Chevy Cruze 2013 success

Chevy Cruze old odometer value: 42250

On main menu, click “Diag Program”, choose “Mileage Adjustment” function and car maker “GM”.

Go to newest GM software V30.50. Choose “Chevrolet” and “Cruze 2010”.

After that it read out old odometer value as 42248. Click “Enter” button to input a new value.

Now time to input a new mileage. In this case, enter 42287.

Adjustment success! Use OBDSTAR X300 DP padsuccessfully change 2013 Chevy Cruze dashboard mileage from old 42250 to new 42287!
